PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Perminder Basran articled in Calgary in 1997 with a major Calgary firm. She continued to practice law there until she joined Scott Venturo LLP as an associate in September 2012.
Ms. Basran’s practice is exclusively in civil litigation, primarily insurance defence work. She focuses primarily on automobile bodily injury, slip and falls, fatality claims, pedestrian accidents and property claims. Her experience has included trials at the Queen’s Bench level, as well as numerous JDRs and mediations.
