PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Kate was born and raised in Calgary, and started to work for Scott Hall LLP in 2003, while taking her undergraduate degree in History at the University of Victoria; whilst an undergraduate she also worked at a small law firm in Victoria. After working at Scott Venturo LLP full time, she went to England to study at the College of Law at Braboeuf Manor, Guildford, and was awarded her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2011. Kate was awarded the Pennington's Michael Fellingham Memorial Prize for best student in Private Client and the Surrey Resolution Surrey Law Prize for best student in Family Law.
Kate returned to Scott Venturo LLP to article and is looking forward to obtaining admission to the Alberta Bar.
