PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Celeste Hutchinson received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Calgary in 2000 and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 2008. Upon graduation from law school, Celeste returned to Calgary and articled with a national firm. She joined Scott Venturo LLP in 2011 as an associate.
Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Celeste taught ESL classes in South Korea for a year, pursued her passion for travelling, and worked as a legal assistant. In law school, she was a member of the Law Students’ Association, volunteered with Pro-Bono Canada and the Scales of Social Justice, and was a Junior Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review. Celeste currently volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance, interviewing clients and providing legal information.
Celeste maintains a general civil litigation practice, with an emphasis on insurance defence.
