Scott Venturo is excited and proud to introduce you to our sponsorees: Luger, Alex Gough and Speedskater, Nicole Garrido.
Alex Gough
Alex is a Calgarian. She became interested in luge at the age of 13 when her mother signed her up for lessons. Alex is a speed demon and enjoys the thrill of the fast pace of the luge track. She is a member of the Canadian Luge Association and will be competing in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
Nicole Garrido
At age 9, having never skated before, Nicole was introduced to speedskating by a friend’s mom who was a speedskating teacher. Speedskating soon became her passion and winning a gold medal at the Olympics would be a dream come true. Nicole is a member of the Speedskating Canada Association. She still has some hurdles to cross and will know some time in late fall/early winter whether she will be competing in the Olympics.
Scott Venturo LLP is proud to be associated with both athletes. They both have a strong work ethic and we are sure they will make Canada proud.
